NO TO DRUGS, YES TO HEALTH & FITNESS

Group of Technology Companies (GTECH), the industry body of IT companies in Kerala is organising the biggest and the most high profile marathon ever in the “Queen of Arabian Sea, Kochi on Sunday, February 11th 2024. Runners from all walks of life, irrespective of age, geography, gender or fitness levels are expected to participate.

The fitness challenge will see three categories of runs -3 kms, 10 kms and 21 kms. The purpose of the marathon is to create increased public awareness about the prevalence of drugs abuse in Kerala and its ill effects, especially among young boys and girls.

Participation in the marathon is open to the public; however prior registration is mandatory.

Race Categories

Picturesque Course – The race winds through Infopark, Smart City, and Rajagiri college campus, offering a unique opportunity for participants to traverse the IT corridors of Kochi and witness prominent buildings within tech parks.
AIMS Certification – The half marathon is officially certified by AIMS, ensuring high standards and credibility.
Affordable Entry Fee – The GTech Marathon boasts the lowest race fee compared to other marathon events in Kochi.
Social Cause – The primary goal of the GTech Marathon 2024 is to raise awareness about the escalating threat of drug abuse in society, emphasizing the detrimental impact it has on lives, particularly the younger generation.
Commemorative Items – All finishers will receive a medal and T-shirt as mementos of their involvement in the event.
